Buhler Versatile updates 'mid' hp artics
Feb 13, 2008 #257
Launched at the US National Farm Machinery Show in Louisville, Kentucky, Russian-owned Canadian tractor maker Buhler Versatile has replaced its 2000 ranges (formerly sold as the New Holland 82/84 series) with a new line of 'mid' hp (305-, 340-, 375- and 400hp) articulated tractors. The new range complements the HHT higher-hp (up to 535hp) line launched two years ago.
Key features are a bigger cab - as on the HHT models - and more weight, plus a longer wheelbase, more fuel capacity and a bigger cooling package. All use a Tier III Cummins QSM11 11-litre engine with 7% power bulge and 35% torque rise. Transmission options include a Quadshift 12 x 4 (four speeds, three ranges) or a 12x2 powershift. Up to 290 l/min hydraulic flow is available with up to six spools.
