Claas complete Renault ag business purchase

Claas has completed its takeover of the Renault tractor business with the purchase of the remaining 20% of Renault Agriculture that it did not already own. As a result, the latter business has been renamed 'Claas Tractor SAS', according to Ulrich Jochem, member of the Claas Group executive board and director responsible for the tractor business. Claas initially purchased 51% of Renault Agriculture in 2003, followed by a further 29% in 2006.
