Landmec Pottinger is to display a new eight-wheel undercarriage for its forage wagons at Grassland/Muck 2008 (May 21/22). Claimed to 'dramatically reduce' ground pressure and the potential for compaction, it is also said to benefit fuel consumption and rolling resistance, as well as increase stability across slopes and at high transport speeds, courtesy of a hydraulic suspension system.
