More Deere tractors get AutoTrac option

John Deere is now delivering all 225-543hp 8030/8030T and 9030/9030T series tractors as AutoTrac-ready at no additional charge. To achieve auto-steering this means that customers then simply need to add a GreenStar display and StarFire iTC GPS receiver. As before, JD offers three types of correction signal: SF1 (+/-30cm for cultivation, spraying, slurry spreading), SF2 (+/-10cm for harvesting, mowing, seeding) and RTK (+/-2cm for planting, bedding). Other Deere auto-steering developments include now making AutoTrac available as an extra-cost option on all 6030 Premium tractors, as well as launching an updated and more accurate version of the retrofit AutoTrac Universal steering wheel kit.
