'The first pre-stretched film that can be used on a conventional wrapper without changes in gears or settings' is Volac International's claim for its new Topwrap 2000 silage film. Each 2,000m roll carries 33% more plastic, sufficient to increase output by up to 10 bales per roll, cliams the firm. Plastic use - and hence wastage - is cut by 24% per bale.
