Three of JCB's business units have been honoured for export achievement, including the Loadall division which makes machines for the farm and construction market.
Also earning awards were JCB Compact Products, based at Cheadle, and the firm's Wrexham-based International Transmissions Ltd, the sales business unit within JCB Transmissions. Each business unit has received the Queen’s Award for Enterprise in the International Trade category. The firm now claims more Queen’s Awards than any other UK company, with a total of 21 since its first Award for export achievement in 1969.
