Replacing its Giga Vitesse forage wagon with the Giga Vitesse Duo, Strautmann becomes the latest manufacturer to market its forage wagons as dual-purpose machines: A conventional forage wagon; or a high-capacity self-unloading silage trailer. In effect, this means the Duo can be operated as part of a self-propelled forager team, hauling grass, wholecrop or maize silage, when it's not being used to actually pick up and chop the crop.
