Cranberries, more than just a sauce to go with turkey, are popular in a range of snacks … or just as they come. Photographer Warren Lynn was on hand to show how the colourful crop is harvested in the autumn as well as how water plays a major role in gathering the berries.

Autumn in Wisconsin, USA, the trees have started changing to shades of oranges and browns, and the days become shorter, often wetter and foggier. This is also the time when cranberries ripen, with the harvest of these delicious berries running from September to October. But let’s start from the beginning.
