Telehandlers are the ‘jack of all trades’ machines for many farms, but where they are used mainly on hard surfaces such as around the yard, the constant shuttling can be tough on tyres. Manufacturers have responded by developing tyres with an industrial-type tread which is more hard wearing, but still capable of handling roadwork and a little fieldwork. Operators report a considerable improvement in wearing life
