At the last Agritechnica, Krone introduced the F400 Fold, a 4.0m wide front mower with end sections that hinged around to reduce the on-road width to less than 3.0m.
It has now employed this swinging end section design with a new butterfly mower to create the EasyCut B1250 Fold that has a working width of up to 12.5m.

Similar to the front-mounted unit, it is the outer two sections on one end of the 4.47m wide, 10 disc beds that pivot around to help reduce the overall height to below 4.0m.
Another part of the folding process, sees the rear mounted gearbox move back hydraulically creating more ground clearance for the 3.8t mower to be lowered on the tractor’s linkage.

The B1250 has been designed to work on 12m controlled traffic farming systems. When partnered with a F400 front mower it has 45cm of overlap when the 60cm of side-shift on the left and right units is fully extended to achieve 12.5m. It can also be used with a 3.6m front mower (20cm) overlap.
