Pöttinger turnover fell by 6% in its 2024/2025 financial year (ended July 31) to around €461 million. The company is satisfied with this figure in the difficult market conditions.

While down on the €506m in 2021/22, €641 million (2022/23) and €491 million (2023/2024), the Austrian company is particularly pleased with the increased sales of grassland machines and spare parts. Grass kit remains the most important segment for the company, accounting for around 55 percent of total sales.

“Together as a strong team, we have been able to meet our target, and in the grassland segment we have managed to increase our market share in the face of tough competition, “says Gregor Dietachmayr, speaker of the executive board.

The Austrian company sells around 57 percent of its machinery in Germany, France, Austria, Poland, Ukraine, and Switzerland. The company says that key markets of Germany and France are slowly beginning to stabilise with some countries showing significant growth in sales in many segments. The export ratio has remained stable for many years at around 90 percent.

Around 1,200 of the company’s 2,100 staff work in Austria. Another 400 are in the Czech Republic, around 200 in Germany, and another 80 in Italy. The rest are at subsidiaries around the world.

Pöttinger has two manufacturing sites in Austria (Grieskirchen and St. Georgen near Grieskirchen), and plants in Germany (Bernburg), Czech Republic (Vodňany), and Italy (San Vito al Tagliamento).
