The Oliver Crane memorial 4×4 tractor museum houses the largest number of articulated Steiger and International tractors in Australia.

Located in York (100km east of Perth) in Western Australia, the purpose-built museum is the result of work by Derrol and Sue Crane in honour of their late son Oliver who passed away from a rare form of bone cancer in 2001 aged 17.

In the years since, Derrol has been busy collecting and refurbishing classic articulated tractors, and the museum houses around 40 mainly Steiger and International tractors from 1970 to 1998, plus, a few Case IH and Versatile models.

The family decided to turn the collection into purpose dedicated to their son. More than 400 people attended the opening last weekend. The museum will not be open daily, but periodically for public visits. Entrance costs AUS$25 (children under 12 free).

The goal is to raise AUS$100,000 (approx. £49,000) per year for the next five years. This will all go towards research through the Oliver Crane memorial bone cancer fund. Pictures: Derrol Crane
