Slurry contractors will soon have another self-propelled slurry machine to choose from: the six-wheeled Oxbo AT5106.

Joining the AT4103 (three wheels/16m³), AT5104 (four wheels/22m³) and AT5105 (five wheels/26m³), the tank on the new model holds 32m³, and Oxbo says that the design is engineered to optimize performance and minimise compaction.

Compatible with 36m dribble bars and all mainstream injectors, the AT5106 uses the same 13-litre Scania engine as the current AT5104 and AT5105, but then with an increase in power to up to 612hp. The block is mated to the same ZF Eccom 5.5 CVT as the three other models.

The AT5106 will not be at Agritechnica. The development project is ongoing, is the message, and the first machines are expected to be available towards the end of next year. The UK is seen as a potential market, and especially with its tramlining capabilities, but it is not yet known when a model will travel across the North Sea.
