Although it bought the Raven precision farming business, CNH has decided to saddle up with CHC Nav from China for what it is calling its Fleet Pro solution, essentially a lower cost retrofit auto steer system. At Agritechnica it was doing a special offer price of €4,449 package with the 10-inch screen or €5,000 with the larger 12-inch display.
Apart from being a bigger there are no performance or function differences between the two which can use an RTK signal. They are also ISObus ready.
Interestingly this will not be a standalone tool, there are already plans afoot to integrate the bought in tech the CNH’s Field Ops platform so you can also use it for agronomic data. This ‘entry-level’ system is said to be targeted at the retrofit market and sits at a lower price than CNH’s own Raven system which we looked at in the 06/2024 issue
