The Argentinian drill maker BTI Agri has been offered in parts of Europe for over ten years now. It makes a range of gravity fed direct drills up to 16m and pneumatic delivery from 2.5m to 8.0m

On show at Agritechnica was the €115k 4.4m Air Drill 30000 with 21 coulters which equates to a row spacing of 21cm but a narrower spacing is possible by moving each coulter arm. This high spec version was set up for seed and fertiliser (2,350l grain, 1,175l fert), hydraulic powered fan and electric seed metering.

Down below, trash cleaning wheels clear the path after the wavy disc opener has cut through the trash. BTI uses double disc coulters with the depth controlled by a notched rack system.

In the Baltics countries a 3.0m wide drill will be in the region of €66,000.
