Veenhuis and Schuitemaker distributor AIS was showing this Scania mounted forage trailers. The Schuitemaker Siwa 660 body has a capacity of 38m3 and comes with a top sheet to prevent forage loss in transport.
Truck wise, the £135,000 pictures outfit was based on a 2020 Scania P410 XT with 395/85 R20 front and 560/60 R22.5 tyres on the rear of the 8×4 drive unit. According to John Crooks from AIS it can be registered as an agri vehicle with a reduced top speed or alternatively operated as a commercial vehicle and run at the unusual road speed but then requires operator hours and other necessities to be maintained.
The forage body can be dropped off and replaced with a different type to expand the trucks workload.
