Agromec, the Fendt importer for the southern half of the Netherlands, is working on an electric version of the 600 Vario.

Dubbed the Agromec E600, the electric all-rounder will be available with powers of 140hp, 180hp and 205hp (103kW, 132kW and 151kW). Developed jointly with Dutch electrical drive and control technology specialist Elma, all three models are equipped with a 171kWh (648v) battery.

This is not the first time that Agromec has developed an electric Fendt tractor. The company showed the E700 at a Dutch show in 2022. This is based on a 205hp (150kW) 720 Vario.

There are no details on run time, but charging is said to take just one hour. An optional range extender (up to 130kW) will be available for the front linkage. This can also be used as a stand-alone battery for fast charging of other machines, and also as a front weight.

Otherwise, the tractor is identical to the current 600 Vario series, and the empty weight of all three models is 8,250kg. The first E600s are expected to hit the market sometime this year.
