Bobcat has entered the footwear market with a range of safety boots made under license by Overland Shoes.
Marketed through the Bobcat Safety Footwear brand, the five series are all named after iconic American industrial locations. The Forge is said to deliver ladder grip technology, while the Keystone offers heat-resistant protection when welding and the Bastion heavy-duty boots are for the most demanding applications. Other models include the Delta and Summit.

Many jobs require prolonged standing, often on hard surfaces, which can lead to heel pain. Redbacks leaf-spring technology on all models actively disperses pressure, reducing strain across the foot to stop pain before it starts. “It’s a genuine game-changer for anyone who spends their working day on their feet,” comments Peter Lawson, brand manager at Overland Shoes.
The collection includes 14 styles across both men’s and women’s fits, with safety ratings from S3S to S7L. Most designs are of a 100% metal-free construction, with composite safety toe caps and puncture-resistant midsoles. Selected models also include a quick-release system for fast, secure fastening.
