Amazone’s Catros compact disc harrow is now available from the factory with a Vogelsang slurry distributor.
Designed for high-capacity slurry incorporation, the SynCult DosiMat DMX slurry distributor on the Catros pro is suitable for application rates of up to 10,000l/min.
Amazone installs the distributor and all the hoses down to the first row of discs. This ensures a fully-integrated and ready-to-use complete solution with optimally routed hoses.
Slurry is deposited directly into the open slit behind the first row of discs. The second row of discs closes the soil. Incorporation is carried out by the 510mm coarse-serrated discs, and working depths are from 5-14cm.
Working depth is hydraulically adjusted from the cab, without having to realign the frame via the top link, and the passage through the implement increases automatically as the disc carriers are rotated when working deeper. A rear roller has been specially tailored for these conditions in the shape of the SW 600 pro cage roller. Other rollers are available.
The Catros pro is available in mounted widths of 5, 6 and 7m for trailed and self-propelled slurry tankers, and trailed models with centre running gear in widths of 8 and 9m for tandem- and tri-axle self-propelled tankers.
Mounted models can alternatively be equipped with a double harrow. As well as leading to faster drying, the double harrow reduces the weight and lift power. Depth is controlled by the front-mounted support wheels.
The options list includes a central lubrication system for the hinge-points and slurry distributor. For added flexibility, catch crops can be sown in the same pass using the GreenDrill mounted seeder box. Depending on the model, hopper capacities of either 200 or 500 litres are available.
