The UK divisions of Moveero (formerly GKN Wheels & Structures) are in administration.
The three affected companies; Sankey Holding, Moveero and Autostructures UK, collectively employ around 250 staff at a manufacturing facility in Telford.
Moveero supplies wheels to many of the leading farm equipment manufacturers. These are fitted to a wide range of vehicles including tractors, slurry tankers, combines, sprayers and balers.
The UK business has faced significant operational challenges in recent years due to a weakened off‑highway market, significant pricing pressure and strong competition from rival companies.
All employees are being retained, and funding and support from key customers has been secured, to allow the three companies to continue production and delivery schedules while the administrators explore the options.
The rest of the moveero Group’s operations and businesses in the US, Italy and Denmark are unaffected by the UK insolvencies.
