A special edition Stars and Stripes Case IH Magnum 265 was one of two tractor highlights at an event to celebrate 250 years of American farming. The second was a gold wrapped Fendt 1167 Vario MT.

Parked on the south lawn of the White House, the patriotic red, white and blue paintwork on the Heartland edition Magnum was admired by President Trump, farmers, cabinet members and congressional leaders.

Built in Racine (Wisconsin), where the Magnum has been made since 1988, the nation’s capital was not the first outing for the one-of-a-kind tractor. Previously, it appeared at other events including the National Farm Machinery Show in Louisville (Kentucky).

The golden Fendt tractor shines at the White House in Washington, D.C.

Manufactured at the Jackson plant (Minnesota), as well as its shiny gold wrap exterior, the Fendt 1167 Vario MT has a patriotic window wrap with the message ‘Proudly supporting our American farmers’.

Also seen at the Farm Progress Show, Commodity Classic and on the National Mall during the Great American Farmers Market, the striking result, which also reflects Fendt’s Gold Star customer care program, is one of the star exhibits at the Fendt Lodge visitor centre at the Jackson plant.

AGCO’s participation in the event is part of its ongoing commitment to recognise agriculture’s role in shaping the nation’s past, present and future. “Moments like this are an opportunity to recognize farmers for what they do every day,” said AGCO top man Eric Hansotia Hansotia.
