Believed to be the biggest deal ever made at the Zweibrücken plant: 20 John Deere F9 500 forage harvesters went directly to German contractign business Köhl Harvest.
It’s not every day you see a sight like this: John Deere sold 20 F9 500 forage harvesters directly from the factory to Köhl Harvest in Bavaria. According to the John Deere configurator, a forage harvester like this is available from around €600,000 making the value of this deal around €12 million before any discount is applied – which you would be hoping is substantial and at least included a new pair of overalls!
But this is not the first big green fleet deal for Köhl Harvest. It has previously purchased fifty John Deere 6R185 tractors in one hit.
