This year marks the 25th anniversary of Pöttinger’s acquisition of the Rabe plant in Bernburg, Germany, in 2001.
Bolstering the company’s arable equipment portfolio seed drills (Vitasem mechanical, Aerosem pneumatic and Terrasem mulch), numerous variants of the three have appeared over the years.
Other milestones in the past 25 years include the launch of the Tegosem hopper in 2015, and the Amico front hopper in 2022, the same year that the Austrian company bought Italian precision drill manufacturer MaterMacc. The most recent addition was the Puro precision planter prototype on the stand at Agritechnica 2025.
For the record, last year was the 50th anniversary of Pöttinger entering the arable equipment sector when it bought the Bavarian plough factory in Landsberg in 1975.
