2,134 new tractors were registered in the UK in March. This number is a 45.6% increase on the same month in 2025.
Having been below the seasonal average throughout last year and in the opening two months of this year, AEA figures show registrations performed much better in March.
March is usually the peak month for registrations, as the start of the fieldwork season coincides with the end of the tax year and the introduction of a new registration mark.
This year seems to be no exception, and the monthly total was the highest for three years, and slightly above the average for the time of year over the previous five years.
The number of tractors registered in the first three months was also the highest for the last three years, and a 34.3% increase on the same three months in 2025. Picture: profi.de
