Jefferson Tools’ new range of aerosols includes penetrating oils, brake cleaners, advanced greases, specialist sprays and a solvent cleaner.
Each 500ml aerosol has been formulated for a certain task. For example, the multi-purpose lubricant with PTFE and Smart Straw is a blend of solvents and oils to free seized threads on bolts, nuts and fittings.
With anti-fling properties and compatibility with both metal and plastic components, the chain lubricant is said to be ideal for farm equipment and off-road vehicles.
Penetrating oil with PTFE and Smart Straw contains moisture-displacing additives to repel water and prevent corrosion on electrics or exposed fittings on machines frequently work in damp conditions.
The copper grease is for those working in high-temperature environments, such as near exhaust systems or when welding. It provides temperature resistance beyond 316°C and protection against pitting and distortion. Acting as both primer and top coat, the zinc galvanising spray provides long-term protection of welded joints or exposed metal surfaces.
Other products in the range include a brake cleaning spray, a cutting and tapping lubricant when working with drills, taps and dies, and a solvent cleaner.
