Some 2,700 exhibitors have signed up for this year’s Agritechnica. The fully booked show will fill all 23 halls at the Hanover Fairgrounds.

Show organiser DLG (German Agricultural Society) confirms that all leading global farm equipment manufacturers have now committed to the week-long event.

With 65% of exhibitors from abroad (more than 50 countries), the majority are from Germany, followed by Italy, China, Turkey, the Netherlands, France and India.

Approx. 430,000 visitors are expected to Agritechnica which runs from November 9 to November 15. The numbers speak for themselves, and the feedback confirms it, comments Timo Zipf, Agritechnica project manager.

“The industry continues to time its innovation launches with Agritechnica,” he adds. “Numerous companies have expressed strong support for our new ‘7 days, 7 topics’ concept, which aligns specific technologies and themes with targeted visitor groups on each day.”

The new initiative delivers focused knowledge and events each day for specific visitor groups, including family farms, large-scale operations, dealers, contractors and international professionals.

The week opens with the innovation and press day, followed by two agribusiness days with limited ticket availability aimed at large-scale farmers, dealers and contractors.

Midweek features the International Farmers Day (highlighting Canada, the Czech Republic, and France) alongside Digital Farm Day, which explores how digital technologies are enabling smarter, more efficient farming. The program continues on the Friday with the Young Farmers Day and ensuing party.

The last day of the show will be a festive celebrate farming day., ending noisily at 6pm when all tractors and machines horns blasting in tribute.

It is now possible to buy visitor tickets for the show. A standard day ticket is costs €29 (two-day ticket €42). Tickets for the innovation and press day on Sunday (November 9) are priced at €63. Admission to the two agribusiness days on Monday and Tuesday (November 10 and 11) costs €149/day.
