AgXeed will launch the AgBot T2 7-series autonomous tracked tractor at Agritechnica. The new model is said to deliver the strength of a full-sized model with the footprint of a lightweight tracked machine.

Aimed at large arable and vegetable farms, the Deutz diesel in the 8.0t vehicle develops a torque of 910Nm, and like the current 156hp Agbot.115T2, the new model uses a diesel-electric driveline. The engine drives a generator that supplies electricity to the rest of the machine. This includes the front and rear ptos, the speed of which is steplessly variable from 850 to 1,050rpm.

Track width is adjustable from 1.5 to 3.2m, and the standard 61cm track width is the same as the smaller model (wider 76cm and 91cm tracks also available). Track length is 1.82m.

Built for fully autonomous operation, the T2 7 series integrates the AgXeed Safety System (geo-fencing, obstacle detection, emergency protocols). With 170l/min hydraulics, the rear linkage lifts 9.0t (front 4.0t). The diesel tank holds 520 litres and the new model will be at Agritechnica.
