Alliance has sold over one million of its Agri Star II series tyres worldwide since the launch in 2020. Looking to keep the momentum going in its 70th anniversary year, YOHT’s flagship brand has added a row crop version to the range.
Designed to provide reliable performance for row crop equipment, such as a sprayer, both on the road and in the field, the new range is said to offer enhanced traction, greater longevity and improved road handling.

Central to its performance is the Stratified Layer Technology. Each lug is designed with two layers of different angles: as the top layer wears down, the bottom layer comes into action, maintaining traction even after 40% of the tread is worn.
Multi-angled lugs provide excellent grip in the field, says Alliance, and boost braking and roadability. It also helps protect crops by minimising soil compaction and a wear-resistant compound and stubble guard protect the tyre from damage.
With a speed rating of up to 70km/hr, the Agri Star II row crop is available in 29 sizes, ranging from 24 (230/95R24) to 54 (380/90R54) inches. All are supported by a seven-year warranty.
“By bringing our proven SLT technology to the row crop segment, we aim to set new standards for performance and reliability in this category,” says Angelo Noronha, president & CEO, Yokohama-ATG.
