Czech manufacturer Bednar will launch the Nevelon EE liquid fertiliser applicator at next month’s Agritechnica.

Claimed to provide an effective solution for targeted application of nitrogen fertilisers, but also able to apply a wide range of other liquids and biological stimulants, the Nevelon is available in working widths of 12m, 15m and 18m. Liquid drained from the 8,000-litre tank is injected into the soil at depths of 7-10cm by spiked wheels.

Suitable for working in a wide range of crops, including oilseed rape and cereals, the spacing of the wheels can be changed to cater for different row crops. Liquid fertiliser is injected both sides of wider spaced crops, such as maize and sugar beet.
