The latest version of the Agrimax V-Flecto is said to maximise traction during spring cultivations and reduce compaction.

Freshly cultivated soil becomes soft and unstable, says BKT, leading to an increased risk of slippage and potential loss of traction. Enter the new Agrimax V-Flecto which is described as a tyre that combines good field performance with the versatility required for road travel.

Available in a wide range of sizes, the self-cleaning capability is said to keep the lugs clean even in muddy conditions, and the lateral stability provided by the tyre’s robust construction enhances operator comfort.

“VF technology directly translates into a key benefit for rotary cultivating, since operating at lower pressures results in a wider footprint on the ground,” says field engineering director Piero Torassa of BKT Europe. “This helps to distribute the tractor’s weight over a larger surface area and thus drastically reducing the compaction of freshly cultivated soil.”
