Kuhn’s Tineliner and Rowliner mechanical weeders will debut at next month’s Cereals 2024.
Previewed at Agritechnica, the Tineliner and Rowliner offer another option to reduce chemical usage while controlling weeds. The Tineliner range has three models – 6.0m, 9.0m and 12m – and is constructed from 1.5m sections with 48 tines across six rows. The 12m Tineliner will be on the stand.
There are also three Rowliner models – 5.0m, 6.2m and 6.6m – with row widths from 500-800mm. The 5.0m Rowliner 500 with six rows at 750mm widths will be at Cereals, with Rowlink camera guidance and section control.
Kuhn is bringing over 20 machines to the show. These include several recently launched products, including the Optimer L 12500, and the Metris 2 trailed sprayer and recently launched Aero 32.1 24m mounted boom fertiliser spreader, can be seen in the demo ring. A selection of drills includes a Megant 602 R, Maxima 3 TIL E eight-row (precision), Espro 8000 and a HR 3004 with a Venta 320-40 combination unit.
Users assessing baling options have the recently launched VB 3290 round baler, and the SB 1290iD Optifeed. The Twinpact plunger system on this is said to offer 25% higher bale densities in dry crops compared to conventional large square balers.
The CCI 800 and 1200 ISObus interfaces will also be available for inspection. These can operate a wide variety of implements through a single display. The customisable CCI A3 joystick arranges the controls in one place.
