Väderstad’s latest Tempo high-speed precision planter is one of the world premieres at this week’s Canadian Farm Progress Show. Fitted with 24 row seeding units, the Tempo L 24, a new top model in the range (previous largest was the 18-row L 18), is designed for high capacity precision planting of small seeded crops, such as sugar beet and OSR.
Available with a row spacing at 450, 457, 500 or 508mm, each seed hopper holds 25-litres and the planter can be equipped with a 5,000-litre fertiliser hopper. Production is expected to start in November.
