For the first time Suffolk-based Landquip is now able to offer a self-propelled sprayer with tank capacities over 4,000 litres, courtesy of a new 3.6m wheelbase chassis.

Initially the CV228 will be sold with 4,000-, 4,500- and 5,000-litre tank sizes, but the intention is to extend that list to 6,000 litres in the future. Power comes from a Stage IV, 228hp Mercedes/MTU motor, and, as for the boom supplier, Landquip sticks with its trademark lightweight Pommier aluminium design (24m up to 44m) that helps to achieve an unladen weight of 8,300kg.

Price is from £190,000, depending on spec.
