The newly developed chamber concept and separate hydraulic system on the Cerex 700 RC round baler range is said to take performance to a new level.
Completing the product range above the Variant, and approved for use in a wide range of crops such as silage, straw, hay or hemp, the new bale chamber works with two endless HD belts, new hydraulics and a new tensioning arm.
With a 1,000rpm PTO drive, five-row HD pick-up and spiral feed rotor, output is said to be up to 60 high-density (over 135kg/m³) bales per hour.

Two Cerex 700 RC models are listed in the press release: the 760 RC and 780 RC. Bale diameter is infinitely adjustable in the terminal from 0.90cm to 1.60m on the 760 RC and 0.90cm to 1.83m on the 780 RC. A soft core function is standard. This is useful when baling hay and silage.
The hydraulic net brake on the tying system not only leads to optimum net tension, but also material savings of up to 15 percent. With net storage on the side as well as at the front, there are always up to three additional net rolls on board. Net can be changed in just a few simple steps using the loading ramp.
There is a new central lubrication system, and tyre sizes are up to 620/50-22.5 and wheel diameter of up to 1.17m are what you would normally find on a square baler.
