The DX23E-7 is the latest addition to the growing range of electrically powered Develon excavators.

With an operating weight of around 2.2 tonnes, the DX23E-7 offers better performance and a 5% higher lift capacity than the Develon DX19-7 diesel excavator on which it is based.

The development of the electric power system saw the removal of the frame cross plate from the DX19-7 and the increased rear turning radius (+35mm) provides space for the battery pack.

It depends on the job, but the standard 32kWh battery has a run time of around eight hours and an indicative charging time to 100% from 6-10 hours under normal charging (3kW/6kW) and 1.5 hours with the 15kW fast charger.

The optional 40kWh battery extends the run time to 10 hours, with charging to 100% taking 7-12 hours and 2.5 hours to 80% with the 15kW fast charger.

Maximum digging depth is 2.3m, maximum loading height is 2.4m and retractable tracks allow the electric excavator to squeeze through narrow passages and entrances.
