Main features of the 532-60 Agri Super, the most compact model in JCB’s mid-range Loadall line-up, include the DualTech VT transmission and a couple of fuel-saving measures.

Providing small- to medium-size livestock farms with another option to the 3.2t/6.0m/four-speed powershift 532-60 Agri, the new 532-60 Agri Super is equipped with the same full-size high visibility Command Plus cab.

Inside, is a deluxe air suspension seat with armrest-mounted servo joystick. Housed in the end of the armrest are fingertip paddle switches for setting engine revs and maximum hydrostatic drive ground speed as part of the DualTech VT transmission’s Flexi mode.

In Drive mode, the machine is driven conventionally by pressing the accelerator pedal for engine revs and transmission response, with precision inching available by lightly pressing the brake pedal but not actually applying the brakes.

The 532-60 Agri Super has selectable 4ws and the compact footprint with short front and rear overhangs will be useful within and around livestock buildings.

Beyond 19km/hr, the transmission automatically switches to powershift drive, with electronically modulated clutch packs shifting between three mechanical gears up to the 40km/hr top speed.

A power setting exploits full engine revs and power output for more demanding applications, and economy mode restricts the maximum speed of the 130hp DieselMax engine to 1700rpm.

Another fuel-saving measure on all Stage V Loadall telehandlers is that the engine can be engaged to automatically shut down after a period standing at idling speed.

Lift capacity of the 532-60 Agri Super is 3.2t to a full-height lift of 6.22m and the boom supports a 1.4t load at a horizontal forward reach of 3.33m from the front tyres.

The standard boots are 460/70R24, but optional 380/75R20s lower the overall height from 2.49m to 2.42m. An extra 400kg takes the weight of the machine to 7.74t.

The newcomer comes standard with 140lit/min, 240 bar load-sensing hydraulics.
