Bicester-based E P Barrus is the new national importer for Bobcat ground maintenance equipment in the UK.
Effective from July 1, 2026, adding Bobcat GME equipment to the mix is described as a key development for Barrus, allowing it to expand the product portfolio beyond the domestic market.
Complementing the recently relaunched UTV and ATV products, the Bobcat products include three compact tractor platforms, zero-turn mowers and turf equipment. A new channel of specialist groundscare and agriculture dealers will be set up to handler them.
“In the first year, we would be aiming to appoint 8-12 new dealers across the UK and recent moves in the market will help us with this,” comments Will Timmis at Barrus. “Over a three-year period, I would expect us to engage 35-45 new dealers for the Bobcat GME range.”
