A trio of mounted forager harvesters on the Özbudak stand at Agritechnica piqued our interest. One of a number of manufacturers from Turkey at the show, Özbudak Makina is from the west of the country and in a predominantly livestock area.

The firm is looking at developing a trailed machine following several enquiries at Agritechnica. The €30,000 mounted Predator with a 2.2m wide grass pick up needs a minimum of 120hp and with the right operator can be used with up to 300hp says the company.

The 75cm wide feed rollers are 20-30cm in diameter and direct the crop to the 12 knife flywheel. Other chutes lengths are available and there is also the option of adding a maize header for €4,000.
