Extra beef, extra space

The 2019 Fendt Katana forager gets a more comprehensive heavy duty package for its grass pick-up.

Designated P3003 Maximum, the new header features a beefier auger, pick-up tines and driveline. But, just as importantly, there is now a larger gap between the rear of the pick-up and the forager’s front tyres. This is said to really come into play in a wet autumn when, on previous versions, operators suffered problems with mud building up between the tyres and the pick-up, especially where larger 900-size tyres were fitted.

Other new features include a heavy-duty drum floor.
