Essentially replacing the Luxxum which has been discontinued since 2023, is the Farmall M. This is a three model range – 100, 110 and 120 – which has the same styling as the other recently freshened up Farmall models, under which lies a 3.6-litre, four cylinder engine.

Max power ratings pretty much match the model numbering (101hp, 110hp and 117hp respectively). The transmission is a 16×16 box called which Case IH calls ActiveDrive 4 with four powershifts and a push button change between range one and two along with a manual selector for high and low – a similar format to the bigger Maxxum models. Top speed is 40km/hr at 1,970rpm. There is a creeper option to double the number of ratios to 32×32.

A gear pump supplies 80l/min with the option of electric mid-mounts. Purchasers can choose from three pto speeds (540, 540E, 1,000 and 1,000E). Rear lift capacity is 5,200kg and the gross vehicle weight is 8,000kg, meaning a payload in the region of 2,600kg. As this sits above the Farmall C, the Ms has the option of front axle and cab suspension and there are other higher spec features such as auto-steer, ISObus and data management. Suspension is part of what Case IH is calling its Advance package, while the Farmall M in ‘Selection’ guise is a simpler, cost effective build.
