Though Fendt has marketed a comprehensive range of Fella-built Slicer disc mowers for the past couple of seasons, until now the brand hasn’t had a centre-pivot machine in its stable.

That all changes with the arrival of the Slicer TKC finger conditioner and TRC roller conditioner machines for the 2019 grass cutting campaign. Two models will be available with working widths of 3.0m and 3.5m, respectively. Suspension is a pull-type, sprung system, similar to that employed by many front mowers.

Admittedly of limited appeal in the UK, it’s still worth noting that Fendt is also adding a side-delivery rake to its Former rake family. The twin-rotor Former 1502 can be swiveled to the left or right to produce either one or two swaths. Raking width is from 3.60m up to 6.30m when presenting a single swath, or up to 7.00m in double-swath mode.
