Up until now, Horsch has targeted large farms with its trailed and self-propelled sprayers. This is about to change because the company now has a solution for smaller farms with its first mounted sprayer.

Called the Leeb CS (CompactSprayer), and available in tank capacities of 1,400, 1,800 and 2,200 litres (front tank available soon) and in boom widths from 18-30m, the new range shares much of its technology with the company’s trailed models.

This includes the continuous internal cleaning system, induction tank and all functions are controlled via the same user interface. The active boom control system is also found on the trailed sprayers, which Horsch reckons is unique on a mounted machine.

Other features hydraulically driven pumps, an optimised centre of gravity and a newly developed linkage to keep the sprayer close to the tractor.

The first of the new mounted models are expected to arrive in the UK from April 2022.
