Fendt has come a long way since entering the grassland business some five years ago, and Agritechnica visitors would have seen the latest green additions following AGCO’s acquisition of Lely’s grassland machinery division.

Didn’t make it to the German show? No problem because the complete Fendt line-up will be on display for the first time on this side of the North Sea at Grassland UK at the Royal Bath & West showground on May 10. Fresh hardware from the Lely stable includes the seven-strong range of Tigo forage wagons (capacities from 31 to 54m³) and fixed and variable chamber round balers.

Other grass kit coming to Grassland includes a model from the six-strong range of Cutter drum mowers, and one of the five-model range of Slicer disc mowers (cuttings widths from 8.3m-9.3m). A Twister tedder will also be on display, as will a model from the Former rake range, which is available with single, double or four-rotors and with operating widths of up to 14.50m. A Katana SPFH is also coming to the event.

The complete Fendt grassland kit line up will also be on display at the FTMTA Grass & Muck on May 17 at Gurteen Agricultural College in Co Tipperary, Ireland.
