SIP’s new Star R 770/24TC rake will make its working debut at this month’s Royal Welsh Agricultural Society’s Muck and Grass Event.

Launched at Agritechnica, SIP Distribution UK will demonstrate the new trailed central delivery rake on its working plot to support dealers Amaeth Cothi, Clwyd Agricultural and Borders dealer Edwards & Farmer.

With hydraulic working width adjustment from 6.80-7.70m, the new rake offers a  capacity of up to 10ha/hr. Swath widths from 1.20-2.10m can be produced to suit a range of balers and foragers.

With 12 tine arms per rotor with spring tines, capable of higher revolutions for increased working speed, working height can be adjusted mechanically (mechanical rotor suspension is optional).

SIP will also demonstrate a front/rear mower combination: the Silver Cut 340 F FSC and Silver Cut 340 S FSC. Working width for both is 3.4m. The Spider 1100/10T 10-rotor trailed tedder and Spider 775/6 7.75m six-rotor mounted tedder will also be at the event.

The Muck and Grass Event takes place at Aberystwyth University Farm at Trawscoed on May 30th.
