Falc was displaying a new triple flail mower setup with the front unit having a pull type headstock. This is said to allow better ground following.

It uses the Italian makers usual 2.8m wide flail mower, but the rear pins, closest to the tractor, run in vertical slots which gives the required float. The slides on either side and the roller can then be used to help guide the 990kg flail over the terrain. There is no side shift function on the front mounted Sprinter 2800 mower.

The Sprinter 8500 is the back unit. This does have hydraulic side shift for the 8.5m working width rear. At least 200hp is required for the combination, with the rear unit weighing 3,100kg.
