Kubota Europe was keen to talk to SIMA show visitors this week about a hydraulic side shift option for the rear axle on its 80 to 100hp tractors. Shown on an MR97, the track width is quickly adjusted from the tractor seat from 1.20 to 1.44m. Already available in Japan, where it is supported with a hydraulically adjustable front axle, the cost of the rear axle is just €5,000 more than that of the standard one. The company is still contemplating whether to offer the option in Europe.
