Developed with input from farmers and contractors, Samson Agro’s PGII Genesis slurry tankers can accommodate the highest and widest low pressure tyres.

Joining the existing PGII series, the new five-model range comprises two tandem-axle (approx. 18m³ and 20m³) versions. Both are designed for tyres up to 1.95m high and 800mm wide.

With capacities of approx. 28m³, 31m³ and 35m³, the three triple-axle models can support tyres up to 1.85m high and 800mm wide. The automatic tyre inflation system allows pressures to be quickly changed.

Options for all five tankers include hydraulic wheel drive or the newly developed hydraulic power drive. Both offer hydraulic power transmission from the tractor to one of the tanker’s axles.

The Danish manufacturer says that this ensures maximum traction even when tackling difficult terrain such as hilly or wet ground conditions and contributes to reduced pressure, wheel slip and field damage.

Like the current PGII models, the Genesis versions are fitted with the firm’s SlurryMaster 8000 control unit. This is compatible with ISObus section control and variable rate application.
