John Deere regained pole position in the German tractor market last year, securing a 17.9% share (6,178 units) of the total market of 34,472 units.

Fendt, which occupied the number one spot in 2020 with 6,818 units, had to settle for second place last year with 5,765 tractors (16.7%). Deutz-Fahr secured third spot with 2,764 units.

The best of the rest were Kubota (2,415), Case IH/Steyr (2,345), Claas (2,174), New Holland (2,099), Massey Ferguson (1,285), Valtra (1,021) and McCormick/Landini (349).

The total number of new tractors registered in Germany last year was 8.6% (2,741 units) more than the 31,180 in 2020.
