Case IH has updated the optional joystick used to control the front linkage on its Optum tractors. The new version also controls the rear linkage.
Incorporated into the Multicontroller armrest, joystick functions are configured using the Pro 1200 touchscreen display. Case IH says it is simple to set up the tractor to suit the operator and task, whether using a front and rear combination such as a pair of mowers, or a single rear implement.

Following the approach used on Quadtrac, Steiger, Magnum and Puma 185-260 series tractors, Optum models are now available with three technology packages. The top two are for users seeking increased levels of automation and higher-accuracy AccuGuide auto-steering. All include the Pro 1200 touchscreen display, with a harness and mount ball for a second display.

Last but not least, all Optum tractors now come standard with connected services and the FieldOps. The data management app and web platform provides near real-time access to machine and agronomic data.
The Optum is available in three models with rated power outputs from 271hp to 340hp.
