Developed to chop up oilseed rape and maize stubbles, and incorporate cover crops, Köckerling’s Gravo knife roller can be front or rear mounted.
It can also be combined with other implements, such as a cultivator or disc harrow. Comprising two 360mm diameter rotating rollers, the design is said to ensure effective cross cutting.
The Gravo, which will be on the Köckerling stand at Agritechnica, will initially be offered in working widths of 5.30m and 6.10m. Optional equipment includes additional weight plates, steerable front mounting frame and a three-row harrow to spread straw and organic matter.
The German manufacturer will also show wider 7.2m and 7.5m versions of its Ultima CS tine seeder. There are also new combi-machines (Ultima CS 3.0m/4.0m). These are equipped with two metering units and a split (60:40) tank.
